WHO ARE WE?

The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child, of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive.

We are a National nonprofit, self-help organization with almost 600 local chapters.

We offer a safe place for bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings to meet and talk freely about your child and your grief issues. No one is required to speak, but non-judgmental listening is expected.

Our meetings are open to all family members who are grieving the death of a child. There is no religious affiliation and no dues nor fees.

The Brandywine Chapter of the Compassionate Friends meets at 7:00 PM on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. See our meeting schedule.

DIRECTIONS:

From I-95:
Go north 2 1/2 miles on US-202 (Concord Pike). Turn left onto Mt. Lebanon Road, a Taco Bell will be on the island dividing the North and South lanes. The church is on the right side of the road next to the YMCA. The parking and entrance are in the back of the church.

Coming South on US-202:
US-202 (Concord Pike) divides and just as the South and North lanes come back together turn right on to Mt. Lebanon Road, Boston Market is on the corner and Taco Bell will be on the left. The church is on the right side of the road next to the YMCA. The parking and entrance are in the back of the church.
